Individual Tutoring

Great tutoring isn’t just about what a student is learning, but how they learn it. My sessions are collaborative by design — we work together to unpack material, build understanding, and, most importantly, find genuine interest in the content itself. Whether a student needs consistent, scheduled support or occasional sessions as challenges arise, I tailor each lesson to fit their goals, pace, and learning style. I work with students across all grade levels, always aiming to turn learning into something both effective and engaging.

Test Prep

From helping students earn admission to top schools like Harvard-Westlake to having gone through that process myself, I’ve experienced standardized testing from every angle. Strong content knowledge is essential, but it’s only part of the equation — test-taking is also a mental game. Anxiety alone can consume a significant portion of a student’s focus, which is why I incorporate strategies and routines designed to manage nerves and build confidence under pressure. The goal is not just preparation, but performance at a student’s highest potential when it matters most.

Tests Covered

  • SAT

  • ACT

  • ISEE

  • HSPT

  • AP Courses (Language, Literature, US History, World History, Art History)

Writing Help

For the past two decades of my life, writing in all its forms has been both my craft and my passion. From college essays to creative projects, analytical writing to personal statements, there is no form I haven’t engaged with deeply. I work closely with students to develop their ideas, refine their voice, and bring their thoughts to full, polished expression. Whether starting from a blank page or revising a draft, I help transform writing into something clear, compelling, and distinctly their own.
